Although some believe it to be too early...I don't. I am all for putting up the tree before Thanksgiving! Especially when you are having company for Thanksgiving...it just dresses up the house. So, I convinced Clint that it needed to be done and, well, suggested it to Maya and she needed no convincing. Please do not judge us by our Saturday morning apparel...we literally rolled out of bed, had some breakfast and started decorating.
Yes, we let a 3 year old climb a ladder to put up the tree (Clint is right beside her...we're not that crazy!). She loved climbing the ladder more than putting up the tree.
Maks has progressed to the jumperoo...and it is even better than the exercauser! He has figured out how to jump and he can go to town! He did pretty well entertaining himself in here while we put up the tree.
And, this is how Maya hung up the ornaments...literally all on the same branch. We would sneak over when she wasn't looking and take them off and she would just keep putting new ones back on this branch. I think I counted 8 ornaments on there at one time!
I don't have a picture of both of my kids together looking at the camera and smiling, so I decided to try again. And, I still don't have that "perfect" picture, but I love how these turned out and I couldn't decide which one to post, so I posted several.
Oh, and here she goes again! She was right in the middle of her head-tilted, cheesy smile, senior picture pose when she broke out this...
