Recap Oct-Dec 09

I haven't really posted any pictures in a couple of months, so I thought it was time to get with it.

We went to the local pumpkin patch a couple of weeks before Halloween. Maya absolutely loved it and still asks about going to the pumpkin patch. They had animals to feed and a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch so that you could literally pick your pumpkins. Maya finally choose a green pumpkin (not pictured) that we HAD to take home.

The next weekend was my 30th birthday. Did I really just post that? Yes, I am now 30! Unbelievable!! We celebrated with a weekend in Columbia and at the Mizzou game. Dad, Gail, Michael (brother-in-law), Alyson (sister-in-law), Chad (friend from KC), Adrianna (friend from KC) and Ryan (brother) all went as well. We had dinner at The Jazz on Friday and started tailgating Saturday at 9 am (game was at 7 pm)! Lots of food and fun! Clint and I had front row seats, which was great. However, it wasn't much of a game to watch!

We went to Farmington for Halloween because we were attending Penny's (friend from Farmington and KC) wedding that evening. Maya got to do her trick-or-treating that afternoon. She made out pretty well...we still have candy! She made stops at Alyson's, Grandpa and Grandma Rollens', Grandpa Chris' and Grandpa Eddie and Granny's houses. She was not very cooperative with her costume and did not wear her hat at all, but she had fun.

We had some family at our house for Thanksgiving. Mom, Marcus and Grandpa and Grandma Rollens came to visit and to help with the meal. I've only done Thanksgiving dinner one other time and my Mom was there that time as well. Maya had a blast because she had someone to entertain her 24/7. She talked everyone into coloring and playing with play-doh all day long. Clint got the flu that afternoon and wasn't able to enjoy the delicious dinner or fry the turkey for us. Marcus and grandpa took over and the turkey was fantastic!!
There's not much else to share right now. I am feeling MUCH better as far as the pregnancy goes. I really did have to wait until 12-13 weeks for the nausea to go away, but it finally did! We are looking forward to traveling to Farmington for Christmas. I'll try to get those pictures up before Easter!
