Since this blog is my "scrapbook", I'm writing this post mainly for myself. But, who knows...there might be a few people out there who keep up with me.
I have been put on bedrest as of 5-3-10. Not because there is anything seriously wrong, but because I am dilated to 2 cm and I am having painful contractions daily. My doctor is just concerned that being at work could progress me even further, as I do have a fairly physical job. So, now I'm trying to figure out how to "rest" at home when there is so much to do. I have a lot of projects/cleaning that I would like to do before baby Thebeau arrives. And I have 50 people telling me to not do anything. Clint has been absolutely wonderful during these last few weeks and has been doing a lot of the cooking, cleaning and taking care of Maya, as well as all of the other things that he normally does (yardwork, etc).
In other news...we have almost finished baby Thebeau's room. I'll post some pictures soon. Some of you know that we have been keeping his name a secret, however, it might be revealed in the pictures...so check back if you would like to know what it is!

Oh...so sorry to hear you have to be on bedrest. I had to do some resting at the end of my pregnancy with Nattie and it just feels like the time when you want to get a bunch of last minute stuff done!! I hope you can just relax and let Clint take care of you! Looking forward to seeing the new baby's room!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that too. Hopefully the rest will end up being a blessing in the end! Does this mean you'll be blogging more?!? :)
