Saturday morning was the 1st Annual Global Orphan Project 5K at the Elms Resort. Our friends, Jason and Wendy Rust have become involved in the GOP, so we had signed up do to the 1 mile walk a couple of months ago. Well, seeing as though I am on "bed rest", I was not "allowed" to participate. So Clint and Maya did the walk without me.

Everyone is getting ready for the start of the race

Maya was looking for me

Here's the one-milers. I didn't get a shot of the 5K start. The man that won the 5K ran the entire race before it starting to "warm-up" and then ran it again after the race to "cool-down"...now that's crazy running!!

Clint, Maya, Jason and Sophie...I think Jason lost a kid along the way

Clint and Maya crossing the finish line...she does not like to be in the stroller!
Clint's employees held a baby shower for he and I at the nursing home last week. Since I am not working right now, I was able to attend and take Maya. She had a great time opening the presents and handing out candy to everyone, including the residents, who probably weren't supposed to have it! Thank you Garden Valley for the wonderful shower...we appreciate everything!!

Some of the employees and residents who attended.

Me, Maya and Clint opening gifts (excuse these pictures...I think I had it on a weird setting because none of them came out very good).

Maya and her mustache after a few cups of punch. She was sporting her Garden Valley shirt as well. (It was nurse's week, so everyone had on the green shirt.)

Yvonne (who just adores Maya) and Maya after the shower. Everytime that I take Maya to the nursing home, she goes right to Yvonne. Maya even talked Yvonne into buying her a Barbie doll!

Mary (a resident who adores Clint), Me and Maya. Mary tells me that Clint is "tip-top", but then tells me that I'm not supposed to tell him that. I have heard that she is in his office waiting for him every morning when he gets there.
Baby Update: I went to the doctor last Friday, 5-14-10, and I am now at 3.5 cm. So, not too much progression this week, but it hasn't stopped. My doctor would just like me to make it to next Wednesday (37 weeks) before baby Thebeau arrives so that we can be almost sure that he is healthy and doesn't have to stay in the hospital. So, I'm praying for delivery this week...I don't think I can survive three more weeks of this!
