We traveled to Farmington this past week to get Maya after her trip to Florida and to show off the newest addition. I can definitely say that we missed Maya a lot more than she missed us!! She was pretty excited to see us when she got there, but I think she would have turned around and went right back to Florida if she could have. I asked her what she brought me from Florida and she said, "Nothing, but I'm going back so I'll get you something next time." Ha...she's not going anywhere for awhile!!
We were in Farmington for a week and were able to take our time and visit with everyone (nearly every relative that Clint and I have are in the same town), which was nice since we are usually rushed to see everyone. Maya had a big week while we were there...she turned 3 (what?!), got to ride horses, went swimming, went to the waterpark and spent the night with both grandmas.
And another cool shirt...for those of you that don't know, Clint likes to spell his name "Tebo"
Aunt Alyson and Maya cheesing it up
Great-grandma Phyllis holding Maks for the first time.
Maya and her Dora birthday cake. She was extremely grouchy at her party and wouldn't even eat her cake or any dinner. I was getting a little frustrated with her because she wasn't very friendly or cooperative during the party. We found out later that she had a temperature of 100 degrees and I felt guilty about being mad at her. Her fever broke that night and she was fine the next day. I think she was just exhausted!
Maks found a place to pass out during Maya's birthday party...still sleeping with his arms up and fists clenched. He is getting difficult to put to sleep because as soon as you lay him down, he puts his hands in his face and wakes himself up...ahhh!!
Maya got a Dora bike for her birthday and she was so excited to ride it. Uncle Michael tried to show her how to ride it, but if you look closely, you can see that she is crying. Again...exhausted and sick. She has since almost mastered riding the "big girl" bike.
Papa Mike took Maya to ride horses one day while we were visiting. Maya was pretty much unsure of the horses the entire time, but she did get on and ride with Clint.
Maks' first bath that he enjoyed...in grandma's sink!
Glad you had a fun trip to Farmington! Cute pictures and fun that you got a night out to go to the Cardinal game. I'll be thinking about you as you go back to work...it's so hard, I know!!
