We're still here...

It's been awhile since I've posted anything and I don't really know why.  It's certainly not a lack of pictures of my children!  I think when they are grown and they want to go back and look at pictures of when they were young, it might take a few months to go through them all!!

Anyway, we our first big snow of the year this past week.  Clint had the day of work, so he picked up Maya early from school and they did some sledding, made snow angels and played with our snow dog.  When I got home from work they were still outside...Clint was shoveling the driveway and Maya was making more snow angels...in the driveway.  Here's a few pictures that Clint took:

This is our favorite pic from the day.  I wish she wasn't wearing her brother's camoflauge hat, though!

We've a little bit of a problem with Maya lately and if anyone has any ideas, please let me know.  She likes to get up around 5 am!!!  It does not matter what time she goes to bed at night or whether or not she takes a nap...she gets up at 5 am!  Well, this weeknd, we had some visitors (grandparents) and we woke up at 5:30 to see every light in the house on.  She gets up and goes to the kitchen to get a snack, takes it back to her room and plays.  At around 6 am, she usually wanders into our room to ask for some breakfast.  So, this weekend, we had to try to keep her in our room and bathroom so that she wouldn't wake everyone else up because the grandparents don't typically get up at 5:30.  In an effort to give myself some time to get myself and Maks ready for the day, I gave Maya her make-up (you may remember that this was her favorite Christmas gift, which she hasn't had access to since) to play with.  This is what I found...

Notice that she has the 1980's blue eyeshadow and her legs are covered in pink, blue and purple from the body paint.  She has had a few baths since and it is still there!

The kids got some Valentine's Day presents this weekend (a little early, but they won't see Grandpa and Grandma before then).  Maya got a racoon hat.

And Maks got a moose hat...how cute are they?!

Oh, and check out this video of Maya and Maks in the bathtub.  Maya is playing peek-a-boo with Maks and he is cracking up!
