9 MONTHS

Maks, you are 9 months old!!

You weigh 20 lbs.

You wear size 12-18 month clothes, but can squeeze into some of your 9 month stuff.

You are still taking 5, 6-7 oz bottles per day.

You will eat ANYTHING that is put in front of you and you are starting to "self-feed", so I can put small pieces of food and your tray and you are entertained. 

I just found out that you LOVE spaghetti!!  You ate half of my bowl!

You have 6 teeth (you cut 4 while mommy and daddy were on vacation...thank you for that!).

You can pull yourself up to stand and you can climb steps.  I may have looked away for a minute and looked back to find you just sitting on the third step of the stairs.

You have become a speedy crawler and it's hard to keep up with you.  You love to crawl over to the ficcus trees and eat the fake grass.  You usually don't get too much in your mouth before Maya starts screaming for me.



You have become a great sleeper (didn't think that would ever happen) and you sleep 11-12 hours most nights.  You still take 2 naps that are at least 1.5 hours. 

You have been spending time with Maya's old babysitter, Miss Brenda, because your babysitter had her baby and took some time off to spend with her new little one.  I am so proud of you because you have handled the transition well and have been so good for Miss Brenda. 

You will still go to anyone!  Anytime someone talks to you, you reach out for them to hold you. 

You are such a blessing to our family and we love watching you grow!
